Wayne Rooney bowed out of his trophy-laden soccer career on January 15, 2021 and began his management career immediately with Derby County FC.
Wayne Rooney was once one of the world’s finest and most feared striker based on his strength, agility, doggedness, passing abilities and super eyes for impossible goals.

His accuracy was second-to none.
As a typical English boy, he started his career in England with his childhood club Everton FC before moving to Old Trafford to play for Sir Alex Ferguson, returned to Everton, sojourned to the MLS with DC United FC and retired at Derby County FC to end his 19-years enviable career.
After winning a truckload of top-level trophies excluding the FIFA World Cup, personal laurels and shattering impossible records in the round-leather game, one can only wish him the best as he transitions into a new life.
Farewell, Old Sport!
